Lord willing we will be on the plane in 5 days. We put the crib up this week in Grace's room and she is very excited to have Hope sleeping in her room. She is always asking the boys to sleep in her bed. I'm just hoping it works out and we don't have two girls in our bed every night. We know Hope is too young to have any idea that her life is about to change dramatically soon. In some ways it will probably be more traumatic for her as she looks at these scary people who look and sound like nothing she has ever seen or heard. We think about her in the crib in Yangxi without a soft mattress or blankets and that this is where she has spent much of her 11 months. We are grateful for the orphanage workers who love these children and have cared for them. These are pictures taken at Hope's orphanage.
More than I could ask or imagine....

Wow! So soon! Liesl, from the blog "Loving Life," linked on my blog list, is leaving for her Kunming girl about the same time as you. She'll probably be in Guangzhou the same time you're there. You should go over and check out her blog so you can meet up! Have a great trip. We'll be praying for you. We're so excited to see Hope with her family.
I am so excited for you! What a difficult road this has been for you. I can't wait to see you with Hope!!
The pictures of those board cribs make me so sad, but so excited to know that soon she will be on a soft mattress in Missouri with a family who loves her! I am so excited for Gracie. Our prayers and love go with you!
